How to register your Star Citizen org on SC Orgs
Register your RSI org on SC Orgs by pasting a verification code on your RSI org page, or create a community for a group without an RSI org.
Updated 2026-11-01
To register your Star Citizen org on SC Orgs, you prove you run it on RSI: you paste a short code on your RSI org page, and SC Orgs checks for it. It takes about two minutes. Don't have an RSI org? Create a non-RSI community instead, with no code needed.
You need to be signed in: see Get started on SC Orgs.
Register an RSI org
- Go to Communities and click Create Community (sc-orgs.space/communities/create).
- Under Step 1 — Community ID, keep RSI Org selected.
- Type your org's SID (the short ID in your RSI org URL, such as IRONWOLFLEGION) in RSI Org ID, then click Check Availability.
- Under Step 2 — Verify Ownership, click Copy & Open RSI Admin. This copies your code, which looks like [sc-orgs.space:1A2B3C4D], and opens your org's admin page on RSI.
- On RSI, paste the code into any text field of your org page: bio, headline, history, charter or manifesto.
- Save your changes and Publish the page on RSI.
- Back on SC Orgs, click Verify.
- Under Step 3 — Details, check the Description, Languages, Playstyle and Focus Areas, then click Complete Registration.
SC Orgs fills in your org's name, headline, logo and banner from RSI. Once you're verified, you can remove the code from your RSI page.
If you see "Sentinel code not found", check that the code is on the public page: it has to be published, not just saved.
Create a non-RSI community
For a group that isn't an RSI org, like a friend group, a Discord community or an alliance:
- Go to Create Community.
- Select Non-RSI Community.
- Type a name in Community Name. It becomes the community's ID, with a ~ in front.
- Click Create Community, then fill in the details and click Complete Registration.
What you get
You're the owner, and your community starts with three roles:
- Owner (rank 100): every permission. It's yours.
- Admin (rank 80): runs the community, except deleting it and the HR permissions.
- Member (rank 10): the everyday permissions, such as creating events, writing knowledge base articles and answering dispatch calls.
Next, set up your roles: Roles and permissions. Then bring people in: Invite members.
Does your org sell items or take contracts? Open an org shop on SC Market, our sister marketplace, where the whole team lists items for aUEC and takes orders in the org's name. Register your org on SC Market (it uses its own short RSI code), then open an org shop. Once it has listings, your SC Orgs page links to the shop.
Advanced
- Edit your public profile. On your community page, click Manage. The Profile tab has the name, Headline, Website, Discord Server URL, Avatar / Icon URL, Banner Image URL, Description (Markdown), and the languages, playstyle and focus areas used by the directory filters. Click Save Profile when you're done.
- Hide your community. On the Profile tab, switching Community Active off hides your community from public listings.
- Hand over ownership. On Manage › Danger Zone, enter the new owner's RSI handle under Transfer Ownership and click Transfer →. They must already be a member. You keep the Admin role, and only the new owner can give ownership back.
- Delete your community. Danger Zone › Delete Organization removes it with its member records and events. It can't be undone. Only the owner can do this.
