How to find and join a Star Citizen org
Browse Star Citizen orgs on SC Orgs, apply to join, accept an invite link, or post a Looking for Org listing so orgs can find you.
Updated 2026-11-01
To join a Star Citizen org on SC Orgs, find it under Communities, open its page and click Apply to Join, or accept an invite link from the org. You need to be signed in: see Get started on SC Orgs.
Find an org
- Click Communities in the top bar (sc-orgs.space/communities).
- Click Filters to narrow the list by focus (Mining, Combat, Trading…) or playstyle (Casual, Milsim, PvE…).
- Under Filters, the sort is Trending by default: orgs with the most upvotes in the last 7 days come first. Pick Newest to see recently registered orgs.
- Click an org to open its page: description, members, events and comments.
Apply to an org
- On the org's page, click Apply to Join.
- Fill in what you want the org to know: Cover Letter, Experience, Availability, Playstyle, Focus Areas, Timezone. Every field is optional.
- Click Submit Application.
The button changes to your application's status: Application Pending, Under Review, Approved or Rejected. When the org approves you, you become a member, and the org shows under My Communities on your profile.
You can apply to each org once, so make the application count.
Orgs also post recruiting ads on SC Market, our sister marketplace: browse those too.
Join with an invite link
- Open the invite link the org sent you. It looks like sc-orgs.space/invite/ABC123DEF456.
- Sign in if you're asked to, then open the link again.
- Check the role you're invited as, and click Accept & Join.
You're added straight away with that role. If the page says the invite is no longer valid, it has expired or been used up: ask the org for a new one.
Advanced
- Let orgs find you. Post a Looking for Org listing on Looking for Org:
- Click Post listing.
- Fill in What you're looking for, Experience, Timezone and Availability. Playstyle, focus areas, languages and preferred org size are optional.
- Click Post listing. Orgs can then click Send interest on your listing, and you get a notification. Listings last 30 days. Under My listing, use Renew to reset that, Found my org to take it down once you've joined, or Edit and Delete. You can have one active listing.
- Show your Discord on your listing. Tick Show Discord Publicly in Settings › Linked Accounts.
- Upvote and comment. On an org's page, the ▲ Upvote button backs orgs you like: one upvote per org every 7 days. Use Post Comment to leave a comment, and the arrows to vote on other comments. Some orgs limit new comments to their members.
- Once you're in. Click Operations on the org's page, or Ops in the top bar, for the members' area: roster, events calendar, knowledge base and the rest.
